She Survived

Holly went in to get her 1st set of shots today...Boooooo!!!! I hate shots. I think the kids hate shots too. But, I guess they are a necessary evil. Holly screamed. It broke my heart. Then she fell into a deep sleep, and she seems fine now. Thank goodness that is over, for another 2 months at least.

Holly is now up to 11 lbs and 2 oz. Owen weighed 12 lbs at his 1 month appointment, and 15 lbs at his 2 month appointment! So Holly has some growing to do if she wants to catch up to her brother. She had to be measured twice because the first nurse only showed her growing 1/4 inch in a month. So she was remeasured at 22 1/8 inches. The doctor was more happy with that number. Both height and weight were around the 55th percentile. This gives me hope that she will fit into her blessing dress in another month!

i did not even get to have the bathday girl up on my computer at work for even one day. i always change the background whenever i get a new photo. 55 percentile is good for an owens. i think all of the rest of your were always in the 100 percent plus in everything.

that was a scary headline! glad she survived! she is so cute and it's nice to see that there are semi normal petite girls in the family! take it from me- it's hard to find clothes for girls when they get a certain size- mak is 9 and she is in juniors sizes and my size shoe! thanks for the christmas card- the kids are so cute- like looking back in time!

have you been telling holly about all of the exciting relatives she is going to meet when she makes her first trip west? 4 uncles, grandpa chuck, grandpa homer? maybe uncle dick, if she is really lucky? then there are the grandma's and aunts also. it should be a fun trip for everyone concerned.
